A Report on the Swayamvaram Event
Held on 23-7-2017

As planned, we had our Free Swayamvaram Event on 23rd July at Kamadhenu Kalyana Mandapam, Mylapore which went off extremely well.

Morning Session 8.00 a.m. to 2.00 p.m. was for Telugu, Kannada, Marathi Brahmins while afternoon session from 2.00 p.m. to 8.00 p.m. was for Iyengars.

Morning Session

More than 500 participants representing 96 Grooms and 47 Brides participated in the function. The programme was inaugurated by Sri. Krishnan (Management Consultant) Dr. R.P. Raya, Ph.D, Professor, Dept. of Management Studies, Pondicherry University, Sri. Sadhasivam (Former Deputy Secretary, Govt. of TN) and others felicitated.

Afternoon Session (For Iyengars)

More than 700 persons representing 225 Grooms and 50 Brides participated. The Programme was inaugurated by Sri. Anantha Padmanabha Chariar, Editor Sri Nrisimhapriya. In his address he emphasized on the need for preserving our culture & accepting Vaideeka Varan too, they are also earning well and professional in their own lines, he said. He applauded the Founder for organizing the event freely in such a Grand manner, with social commitment.

General : Mr. N. Panchapakesan, Founder in his address extended lot of tips for selecting proper alliance and ensuring Happy Wedded Life. As a token of appreciation for the good work done by Nrasimha Priya Trust, a sum of Rs.10001/- was donated by him to them. He also appealed to the participants to subscribe to Nrasimhapriya, If they have not done so for.

All the participants found the programme extremely useful and unanimously appreciated all the arrangements including free lunch and dinner.

We do hope many marriages will take place at the earliest based on the introduction and Interactions.
