A Brief Report on
Naveena Swayamvaram Event (For Iyers)
Held on July 8th & 9th

We are delighted to inform you that our Swayamvaram Event rather "Yagna" or "Marriage Meet" went off very well at Kamadhenu Kalyana Mandapam, Mylapore as per Schedule.

In both days put together, total participants exceeded 2500 (Including around 230 girls and 560 Boys) much beyond our expectation, reflecting the abundant confidence of our clients in us.

The First day programme was inaugurated by Sri. Sarma Sastrigal (Author of The Great Hindu Tradition) after Veda Gosham & Prayer. In his brief address, while wishing the event all success, he appealed to the participants to do Sandhyavandhanam & other karmas without fail (His video talks are available in Youtube). The Second day programme was inaugurated by Sri. Ranganathan (Director, Giri Trading Pvt. Ltd) along with Sevalaya Muralidharan & Popular violinist Dr. M. Narmadha. Sri Ranganathan mesmerized the audience with his Melodious & Thought provoking songs. Earlier, Five Elderly couples were honoured in the stage for Blessing one and all as part of the Inauguration. The list of Special Invitees included representatives from Thambraas, Jankalyan, Brahmin Today Vasan & Others.

Sri. N. Panchapakesan, Founder Welcomed the gatherings and said, although, no caste is superior or inferior, it is our duty to ensure against Inter-caste Marriages & preserve our identity by following Brahminical Traditions & Values. He also declared open the New Scheme for projection of profiles in Makkal TV on Sundays from September onwards. Many of the participants expressed their willingness to join at the earliest.

In his detailed Talk, he gave lot of valuable Tips for ensuring proper selection of Alliance leading to Happy Wedded Life. An exclusive write-up in this regard (in Tamil) which was circulated to the audience is projected in the website also for ready reference.

While narrating the various factors for delay in Marriages, he emphasized that Horoscope & Star Matching is the main hindrance. He fervently pleaded to everyone with folded hands to discard Horoscope Matching once for all & proceed on the basis of Jodi Porutham, Mana Porutham (Likes, Dislikes, Culture, Belief, Language, Goals etc.,) Family Matching (Heriditary, Social & Economic Status) and above all Guna Porutham (Character & Qualities)

He also appealed to them not to reject any stars including Ayilyam, Moolam etc. & accept other subsects also. He also cautioned them against exploitation in the name of pariharams.

Before concluding, he said it is high time for us to share the marriage expenses and make it as a customary practice as prevailing in various other caste. He further suggested to avoid wastages in Marriages & Nischayathartham and instead contribute for Homes like Anandam (Ambattur, Phone : 98418 19889, Web : anandamoldagehome.org) and Sevalaya (Thirunindravur, Phone : 94446 20289, Web : sevalaya.org) etc., who are doing excellent service for the poor and needy. His emotional speech was well received & applauded by one and all and many people expressed their concurrence while presenting themselves in the stage!

The details of all the Boys and Girls were read out one by one, keeping the parents / Boys / Girls in the stage. The profiles as appearing in our website were also simultaneously flashed in the huge screen which were clearly visible for everyone. It was nice to see many of the Boys & Girls also being physically present in the stage expressing their expectation clearly.

All the participants followed the presentations with rapt attention and took note of the ID numbers of suitable ones for further proceedings, besides raising their hands to express their likes.

Wherever possible some of the clients interacted among themselves also and a few marriages got settled there itself ! We understand many more are likely to be settled very shortly thereby fulfilling the purpose of the Swayamvaram.

During the intervals the videos of Mandolin Sai Ganesh ("Sai Swarangal" web : mambalamsaiganesh.com Ph : 98843 70896) was projected in the screen for relaxation which was enjoyed by one and all. He was duly introduced and honoured by the Founder who suggested the audience to utilize his performance for making the Reception ever memorable one!

It was indeed our pleasure to provide morning Tiffin, Lunch & Coffee with Snacks freely for the participants treating them as our honourable guests, which was applauded by one and all.

Underlining the emphasis on Gratefulness as the noblest quality, Founder extended his sincere thanks to various people instrumental for the success of the event including videographer Senthil (Ph : 99628 52727), Website Provider (J B Soft System Ph : 98402 79047), Caterers (Subam Ganesan, Ph : 98410 19066) and others.

He also thanked all the clients individually by extending his visiting cards in person. He further expressed his gratitude by shaking hands with all the workers including the cooks with a gift, besides appreciating their hard work which made them feel proud!

Almost all the participants expressed their abundant satisfaction with joyful Tears in their Eyes and Hopes in their Hearts! They also gave big cheers for our Staff Members for their Excellent Service.

No doubt, we had some short comings on the first day, due to unexpected rush and delay in commencement which was duly rectified on the second day. Nevertheless, we regret the inconvenience caused sincerely. After all, Life is an Experience and Improvement towards Excellence is an onward journey!
